CPT Will Otto
Captain William Otto is from Winston Salem, NC. He graduated from Wheaton College with a degree in history and was commissioned into the United States Army in 2017 as an Armor Officer.
Following Armor Basic Officer Leader Course, his first assignment was with 1-64 AR BN, 1 ABCT, 3ID at Ft. Stewart, GA. His next assignment was with 1-16 CAV at Ft. Benning, GA. Following that assignment CPT Otto attended the Military Intelligence Officer Transition Course and became a Military Intelligence Officer. He then served in the 2d MDTF in Wiesbaden, Germany, which is his most recent posting. CPT Otto has served as a Tank Platoon Leader, Tank Company XO, Cavalry Troop XO, Cavalry Troop Commander, Battalion S2, Military Intelligence Company Commander, and SIGINT Officer.
His military education includes the Armor Basic Officer Leader Course, Army Reconnaissance Course, Military Intelligence Officer Transition Course, Military Intelligence Captains Career Course, SHARP Foundations Course, and Army Space Cadre Basic Course.
CPT Otto and his wife, Elisabeth, have three children, and are thrilled to be close to family in North Carolina.
