The Tar Heel Battalion welcomes any UNC transfer student who is interested in the program. Both students who were in an ROTC program at their previous and those who weren’t are encouraged to join.

1.  APPLY TO UNC: The first thing to concentrate on is applying to UNC-Chapel Hill.  In order to apply, follow the instructions at this website: http://www.admissions.unc.edu/Apply/Transfer_Students/default.html . 2. INTERESTED IN ROTC SCHOLARSHIPS? If so, contact Mr. Ron Henry, the UNC Army ROTC recruiting officer at armyrotc@unc.edu or by calling 919-962-7347. For more information about 2 or 3 year scholarships with Army ROTC visit http://www.goarmy.com/rotc/college-students.html .

3.  VISIT:  While you are waiting for acceptance notification we recommend that you visit the UNC campus and take a tour.  To schedule a tour, visit the following link https://admissions.unc.edu/visit/schedule-your-visit/.  While you are visiting you should also schedule a meeting with the Army ROTC Recruiting Operations Officer, Mr. Henry to review your progress.

4.  GET ACCEPTED:  As soon as you are accepted, be sure to notify the UNC Army ROTC department.
