Donate to Army ROTC

Private gifts sustain and enhance the department’s ability to offer a wide variety of leadership experiences, academic challenges, and unique learning opportunities for students to excel. These gifts help prepare cadets for not only a successful military career but also a career in the private sector.

Our donation account is under the College of Arts and Sciences, Army ROTC Gift Fund. Any donation to the gift fund can be applied to defray the costs of various Battalion activities. These include activities such as sending the Tar Heel Army Ten-Miler team to Washington and putting together the Military Ball. Funds can also be used to purchase new fitness/recreational equipment or host guest speakers. Through the department’s pursuit of excellence, each cadet of the Tar Heel Battalion will be educated, trained, and inspired to become a leader. Furthermore, a leader of character who is committed to the Army values and prepared to serve successfully as a commissioned officer.

The department receives tax deductible donations through the Arts and Sciences Foundation at UNC-Chapel Hill. Please note in the “memo” section of your check that your gift is intended for the Army ROTC Gift Fund (designation number: 104559).
